Verona Arena got braced!

Here we are, ready to show our german friends one of the most precious jewels in Italy but we actually were in the middle of a concert setup: temporary seats, metal structures, italian television (RAI) cameras and the stage ready for the night.

L'anfiteatro contaminato dai preparativi per un concerto: posti a sedere comodi, telecamere della RAI e la scenografia del palco. L'arena vista sotto una luce diversa. 

Barga, the most scottish town in Italy

Barga is one of the most beautiful villages in Italy. The old town of Barga retains its medieval alleys and stairways and is dominated by the imposing bulk of the Duomo. The fog adds magic and mistery through the alleys and sometimes it prevents you from seeing the valley. Barga is considered the most Scottish town in Italy due to its Twinning partnership with East Lothian.

The 15th century acqueduct it's hidden in the town's ditch, and at the present time there are just a few very low-resolution images of it on the internet. That's why I posted some of my photos of this unique place that's deserves to be known.

Barga si trova in provincia di Lucca nel cuore della Garfagnana ed è uno dei Borghi più belli d'Italia. Una sintetica ma incisiva successione di parole chiave dovrebbe far capire quanto questa cittadina sia speciale:

Questo è parte del biglietto da visita che tutti possono vedere. Vale la pena aggiungere che l'Amministrazione ha raggiunto livelli di qualità molto elevata soprattutto in termini di turismo, accoglienza e calore. 
Accanto alle fotografie del borgo antico troverete immagini pressoché inedite dell'affascinante acquedotto del XV secolo che attualmente è utilizzato come ponte in pietra per collegare il centro storico con la Barga moderna. Data la cura con cui si sono mantenuti gli edifici del borgo sarebbe un vero peccato lasciare nascosto questo piccolo ma prezioso gesto di architettura idraulica del passato.
